Any other guys struggle with not dreaming about it all the time?

I feel in the spirit that having dreams about sex that cause you to lust  is just as sinful as masturbation but it hard to control your thought and feelings at night? Any of you guys have the same issue?

You guys are waiters !!!  You need to lighten up!

Waiting is hard enough.  Don't pacify yourselves even more with: "Oh no, I have trouble with porn; oh no, I think about sex all the time; oh no, I dream about sex at night."  You are EXCUSED as a waiter, sir.  I am sure that Jesus won't penalize you for waiting. He Would Be a terrible king if He punished you for following His Commands because of the build-up in your body.  As Jesus what to do with your sexuality as a waiter, and I am sure He Will Have a lot of solutions for you.

If you are starving for food, you are not sinning because you are hungry, that's absurd.  Yes, if you were starving, you would see food all around your dreams at night, and there would be NOTHING you could do about it until you finally ate and were satisfied.  The solution is not to pretend hunger is the problem.  Hunger is telling you it is time to EAT!  We don't suppress our bodies' indicators because we go without.  We find a way to satisfy our needs.

Staying horny is healthy and normal.  You do NOT decide that you do not need sex.  You should spend time figuring out how you will acquire a partner to have sex with finally.  We don't yell at starving people for being hungry, we give them FOOD !!!  In the same way, if anyone wants to help you, they should do what they can to provide a spouse for you.  Everything else would be complaining over nothing and "blaming the victim."

Don't let people believe that the solution is to smash your humanity everytime your body reminds you of it.   If anyone does that to you as a waiter, you should tell them to "go fuck themselves" because they certainly don't deserve to be fucking you or fucking WITH you like that...

thanks I appreciate that view but don't totally agree. I believe that God calls us to do our best to not sin at all and that for me lust is the only thing that I really struggle with. Especially porn because the Bible says just looking is like having adultery in your heart.

I understand your perspective, armytiger. What is the point of waiting if everytime you get the chance, indulge in as much sexuality as you possibly can. As a woman, I can say that the struggle is real! But every time I get caught up, I train myself to pursue God instead. I remind myself that I am waiting because it is God's best for me, and I turn my attention to ensuring that I am God's best for my future mate (ie. my spiritual growth, physical growth, intellectual growth). By reminding myself of myself that the "waiting" period is for my own personal growth and not just as torture, I make it a productive experience. I don't think that dreaming about sex is necessarily sinful, but I do think that it is an opportunity to take into captivity every imagination that raises itself against the knowledge of Christ. Don't stress about it, but at the same time don't revel and dwell in them either. My opinion, and thanks for such a great post  ^_^
