ok guys and girls i have seen the recent pages about physical attractiviness and i thought i would make one about personality, values, and mental traits. (if there is a page for this i am sorry lol couldnt find one) now this is for more of the unusual trait that you will want or are attractived too. Ok for me i personaly love a women who is kind and caring, sweet and gentle. loves children, a nationalist, conservative. now to the unusual ones, i love a women who is bossy, i know wierd, one who takes charge and likes to TRY to tell me what to do, i love when they are wierd, and or nerdy, shy who nit picks over the lilltlest things, who isnt afraid to go shoooting without me, a women who knows her place(right beside me) and isnt afraid to speak her mind. I want her to be intelligent( this is wierd because most guys i know only want a dumb blonde(not saying blondes are dumb just using an analogy) ) i want a women who truely is an independent women but wants to be dependent on me. who isnt afraid to sacrifice herself for me. one who truly is an incredible women. proverbs 31:10-31, this is the women i want.
For those that have pets do you notice if whether or not your pets take on a certain personality? and if so do you think they can develop personalities from their owner? My mom has two dogs with two opposite personalities; Coco is super sweet, well behaved, shy and very careful/ladylike. Halo is sometimes sweet but evil, she's bratty, always growls and start fights with coco all the time. I notice little funny things like if its late in the evening and people are up talking, Coco will quietly leave the room to go to sleep, sometimes she gives a look before leaving the room. Halo on the other hand will growl and bark first and if people continue to talk then she leaves the room. And if someone is using is foul language or an angered tone (not towards the dogs) Coco will immediately tip toe out of the room with her ears back and her tail low. While Halo will come running out to the person and sit next them or try to get into their lap and stare as if she is trying to understand why that person is upset. And the foul language doesnt have to be in an angered tone if someone were to just curse in a soft voice Coco will immediately give a disappointed look and walk into another room, she does not like curse words at all, the look she gives is quite funny actually.
I don't usually recommend books. However, I read this book years ago, and it has proven very true to life, so the message sticks with me. I just wanted to share it here. In the book, Tim LaHaye describes the 4 temperaments/ personality types: phlegmatic, sanguine, choleric and melancholy. I believe that I've found the book so helpful because it helped me to identify my own personality as well as those in relationship me. As result, I think that I've been able to relate to others more effectively. Also, I'm not as perhaps critical of others because I realize that they do certain things simply because they are wired that way by God, and we are not all wired the same. Therefore, not everyone thinks like me (or vice versa) and that's okay. Anyway, has anyone else read this particular book? If not, I hope people would read it prior to marriage because it could help you understand your partner and kids better. I know the 5 love languages by Gary Chapman is extremely popular, but this book spoke to me in a way that love languages didn't. Again, I guess it just depends on your wiring.
