Gentlemen, what's the oldest and youngest you would date?

I'm asking the girls this question, so I'm curious to see what the guys will say.

Do guys care these days if she's older?

Does it ever feel weird dating a girl that is younger?

Post your thoughts here.

I've dated older, younger, same age and honestly I don't really have a preference...although I guess I've only dated 1 girl older than me and the rest were younger or roughly same age sooo....maybe thats my preference lol. Honestly, based on my experience relationships tend to work better when the couples are around the same age or the guy is a little bit older. Thats how most of my family is for some reason and just in general it seems like many married couples work out this way. Not saying that other circumstances can't work out...they're just less common for whatever reason.

I agree with dodgedude about "around the same age" being ideal. That's where I feel most comfortable. Overall though, there are plenty of exceptions in either direction. So I'm cool with 21-35ish I guess.

Mike, woah, really? I guess in the thirties doesnt seem as old to you, but im only 21 and that would just feel weird to me.

Given the difficulty in finding women who meet/exceed my requirements, I can't really have an age requirement.

That said, I'd probably date women aged 17 to 29 (I'm 17).

I don't know. Personally, I would prefer someone who is closer to my age. Although, my sister and I get along pretty well, and she is a couple of years older than me. So that being said, not really sure.

Trying to keep within 5 years either direction.

I think that's a good rule.

Yeah I'm going to be 29 in...13 days. :(

My immediate peer group is already 27-31. Watching a close friend that you've known forever turn 30 totally takes the stigma off it.

It's a number with a bunch of social norms attached to it, but it's still just a number, and the closer you get to it the less it matters. I've met plenty of smoking hot 30-something girls who acted just as normal and cool (if not moreso) than their 20-something counterparts.

I didn't mean it in a stigma way, just to me at 21, 30 is way too old to date lol. But since you're 29, that's perfect. =)

I am dating a woman 7 years older than me. It has been the most amazing relationship I have ever had. I will never date a woman younger than 35 again. Men and women are generally done changing by then. They no longer are trying to identify or validate their selves. They have greater self confidence and self worth. They generally know exactly what they want. Women even up until their 30s from my dating experience are still in that party have fun phase. I am too old and curmudgeonous. I want a lady not a party girl. Not to say any of you women are anything BUT ladies. This is just my subjective oppinion.

Dating grown-ups. That's what I always wanted when I dated... so age was 2nd factor... after whether or not we were grown-ups. :-)

It sounds cliche, but it's all about the maturity for me. I've always been mistaken for older than I am (I remember walking though a casino when I was 15 just to see if i could) and so I need to see some maturity. That being said, I doubt I could go much older than 10 years older than me. Younger than me? Well as long as they aren't childish I'll date any age over 16.

As for now, my fiancee is 2 years younger than me but had to grow up pretty fast with some pretty terrible events early in life. Doesn't feel weird at all to me.

Probably no more than 2 to 3 year older than. I don't have a problem dating younger girls. I'm 21.

I'm somewhat immature or at least inexperienced for my age so dating mature women might be a bit awkward.

2-3 years older would be the max. As far as younger goes, I would say her maturity level and willingness to have children would dictate the limit on her age.
