Posted August 24, 2014 · Report post So, I am what you could call a binge reader. I love reading, and when I get going I'll read a few books at a time. Then I won't read anything for a few days, weeks, or even months. I'm getting that itch, again. I've got a few ideas in mind about what I'd like to read, but I thought it might be fun to see what others favorite books/authors or even genres are... I'll start... I love •time travel books •period books •VC Andrews books •Sherlock Holmes novels •Ayn Rand novels •Steven King novels •Nicholas Sparks novels •mystery •WWII related and some of my favorite books are... The Mirror by Marlys Millhiser The Hunger Games series The Dead Zone 1984 The Diary of Anne Frank to name a few...

Posted August 24, 2014 · Report post Eoin Colfer is my absolute favorite author. Artemis Fowl and Airman are my favorites. I grew up with the Artemis Fowl series. Started it when I was 10, and the series finished when I was 17, so even though the books are for a younger audience, I still enjoy them.
Posted August 24, 2014 · Report post As a child, I loved Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson. Then I got a bit older and my favorite book was Finding Alice by Melody Carlson, which I still really love. It's about a young college-aged girl with Schizophrenia and it kind of plays along with the story of Alice in Wonderland. Now days, my favorite books are by Tricia Goyer. She writes amazing historical fiction set in WW2. Especially her first, called Night Song. Good reads!

Posted August 25, 2014 · Report post Have you seen the movie for Flowers in the attic? I have. It's not a great adaptation from the book. So, if you watch it, take it with a grain of salt. They didn't do a great job, but it was ok.

Posted August 25, 2014 · Report post I think I will forever love the Princess Diaries series lol I totally reread the entire series last time I was an au pair. The oldest child had the first eight books, and I borrowed the others from the library. They're great books! 1 person likes this
