Hey all,

Just curious to know how you all discovered this amazing site. I can't remember exactly, but I think that I was just googling "waiting till marriage" and found this.

Oh I like this thread.

I guess I'll throw in: I went to register "waitingtillmarriagetips.com" because I assumed my first choice (waitingtillmarriage.com) was already going to be taken.

So my thought process was like this...

1. Try to register waitingtillmarriagetips.com

2. Oh good it's available. Just for fun, let's see what site is up at waitingtillmarriage.com...

3. Hmm, that's funny. There doesn't seem to be a site here.

4. Try to register waitingtillmarriage.com

5. Available? No way. I had to have typed it wrong or misspelled it.

6. Double-check my spelling. Try again. Still available.

7. How has nobody registered this yet? You fools! It's mine! Mine! MINE! MUHAHAHAHA.

And that's how I found this site.

Hi guys!

Same as most people. Googled "waiting until marriage to have sex" or something like that, and the results that came up were all either statistics showing how hardly anyone waits, or Yahoo Answers and opinion pages where everyone was basically saying, "It's crazy to wait until marriage". And I was thinking to myself, "Hey, thanks, Google!", when I saw one article which was entitled, "The Top 5 Arguments Against Waitng Till Marriage". I was just about to ignore it and try googling something else when I noticed, "Hey, that article is from a website called WaitingTillMarriage.org...that can't be anti-WTM." So I clicked on it, and, hey presto, here I was! Read a few more articles, liked what I saw and...been here ever since.

Awwww...It's like, I don't know, the site was a little unadopted baby in an orphanage of unclaimed domain names, and you thought, "No one wants this baby? I will adopt him!"

Is that a weird analogy? I mean, it makes sense to me...

xxx

WTM:  "Hi there, Mike!"

Mike:  "Aww, aren't you cute?"

WTM:  "Please pick me!"

Mike:  "Huh? No one's adopted you yet, little fella?"

WTM:

Mike: :o

WTM: :(

Mike: :) "That is unbelievable! I'll adopt you, then."

WTM:  "Yay!"

Mike:  "My little baby..."

Wow, yeah, that's EXACTLY the way it happened with me too. Screw those Yahoo! pages.

Hehe, and I love the little script. ^__~

@Jegsy - lol I'm going to think of that every time I register a domain name now.

That should get interesting, considering that my day job is as a web developer (of sorts). One day I'm going to slip and say "Aww...look at you, all lonely and unregistered." out loud and my coworkers are going to give me strange looks.

Well, Mark I found this site when I was going through a rough time. Year 2010-2011 was a very hard and sad year for me and when I turned 21 I thought I'd get married because my sister's were. Well I told them I wanted to get married but I wanted a guy who had never slept with anyone and they were like "he doesn't exist, you're going to have to settle." Now my ex was a virgin, 25, and I loved him very very much, more than I'd ever loved anyone and when I broke it off with him he had a one night stand with a girl he knew and I cried forever about it and I was pissed at myself for breaking it off because I felt it was my fault he lost it and I should have stayed with him because I was never going to find a male-waiter and, lo and behold, did I find! I found some really outstanding fellers and even though it was a hard and sad time for me, I found encouragemnt everyday through this site!

This site actually saved me from giving up something I really really valued-even more than my ex. So thank you guys♥

OHG,

I'm SO glad you find this at the right time !!! :) :) I don't think you can regret waiting as much as not or " getting it over with" as some say.

I think its cool that a lot of us were just googling and ended up here :) :)

I found this site while being dared.

I was told that "men don't wait until marriage anymore."

So, google helped me big time and look what I found! I found a site of people that came together holding my same beliefs, felt just as alone as I did, ignited my hope again and reminds me that "chivalry aint dead yet."

Best part? A man created it. <3

Mike its sad and says alot about society that in the digital age you found the one domain name NOT taken. Try and register any variation of porn or tube or any other topic the fine members here might eschew from, and they will not be available.

I am a forum junkie. If there is a topic I am even remotely interested in I am a member in that forum. If I buy a car I join that specific make model and year's forum. I have been apart of some very niche forums. This however is the smallest community I have ever been a member of. But the impact of it's members has the largets profound impact on one another.
