2 Timothy 2:22

It's Luke 15:11-32. It's the Parable of the Lost Son. It means that no matter how bad we eff up, God will be willing to accept us back if we ask for forgiveness.

 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God. 1 Samuel 30v6

What I like about this verse is that David was facing a very hard situation...everybody was angry at him, he had no human friends...and was all alone...No one to cover his back or to take his side...

And that provoked a great distress in him...nut the good news is that he realised that even if everybody had given up on him, God was still available and ready to help...So he sought for the help of God and that was his best decision ever !

God gave him strength and also a strategy to take back all the things and persons the ennemy had stolen to him  (1 Samuel 30v 18-19)

This is a beautitful story that reminds us that even if the whole earth decided to abandon us, we are never alone and never without a solution when God is in our lives.

That's really encouraging and edifying...And so true !!! God is awesome !!!

I love lots of words from the bible. Still, my favorite bible scriptures are psalms 23:6 and John 17:4.
