Posted February 23, 2013 · Report post Here's a good one that's obviously about waiting. Rebecca has been a positive role model in my life. She successfully waited until marriage and she is a strong beautiful woman of God. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5c4q7VVDC_g 2 people like this
Posted February 23, 2013 (edited) · Report post Great song by Boyce Avenue called On My Way ♥ It made me think of this community, so I wanted to share it. The story behind the song is this: "This song just kind of poured out of me one night. I had just finished watching a movie in my apartment and I was feeling super inspired, so I picked up an acoustic guitar and in a few hours it was done. Part of the reason I think it came together so quickly was because it is definitely the most personal song I´ve ever written. It´s for the girl I will spend the rest of my life with, but haven´t met yet..." Alejandro Manzano (lead singer, guitarist and pianist of Boyce Avenue) Lyrics are in the video, so I didn´t write them out on here, if that´s ok. Checking this band out and I think I love them! They have a music video for this song now too! http://youtu.be/Ie9VxRF7ucM Edited February 23, 2013 by Kailey 1 person likes this

Posted March 15, 2013 · Report post Cool song about lasting love. I guess, that´s something every waiter wants in the end (and of course many non-waiters...). However, maybe there are some on here, who can already relate to it....like the married folks on here, for example "Still Into You" by Paramore 1 person likes this

Posted March 15, 2013 · Report post That´s sort of scary It is scary, with that many people there will be a huge chance of mass disease. We're over due for a big disaster, tbh we need a disease to take half the people off the planet to ensure our survival for a longer period of time.

I heard the UN estimates it'll be about 8.9 billion by 2050. They also think it'll peak around 9 billion at the most, and then start going down. So I don't think we'll be in need of a disease to wipe people out. xxx

I think 8.9 billion by 2050 is a bit lower considering we have 7.2 billion on earth now.

Posted April 26, 2013 · Report post Hey! I just thought I'd suggest these two songs, hope you like them! Bruno Mars-If I knew This song is perfect for the article about letting go of your partner's past relationships. The lyrics are really sweet about how Bruno regrets not saving himself for this special innocent girl he's now in love with and is asking her to forget his past so that they can be in love. Especially this line: I wish we were seventeenSo I could give you all the innocenceThat you give to meNo, I wouldn't have doneAll the things that I've doneIf I knew one day you'd come "If I Knew" Oh, oh, oh I, I was a city boyRiding to danger's where I'd always run a boy who had his funBut I wouldn't've doneAll the things that I have doneIf I knew one day you'd comeNow baby, now baby, now baby, now babyOh, oh, oh, I, I know it breaks your heartTo picture the only one you wanna loveIn someone else's armsBut I wouldn't have doneAll the things that I have doneIf I knew one day you'd comeNow, baby, now, baby, now, babyOh, baby, pleaseLet's leave the past behind us, behind usSo that we can go where love will find usYeah, will find usI know most girls would leave meBut I know that you believe meBaby, I, I wish we were seventeenSo I could give you all the innocenceThat you give to meNo, I wouldn't have doneAll the things that I've doneIf I knew one day you'd comeIf I knew one day you'd come Lauren Hill- Doo Wop (That Thing) This song is completely different as it's a rap asking girls to wait to have sex which is nice to have in the charts really. I think the lyrics are more powerful than the song itself but that's just me "Doo Wop (That Thing)"It's been three weeks since you've been looking for your friendThe one you let hit it and never called you again'Member when he told you he was 'bout the BenjaminsYou act like you ain't hear him then gave him a little trimTo begin, how you think you really gon' pretendLike you wasn't down then you called him againPlus when you give it up so easy you ain't even fooling himIf you did it then, then you probably f*** againTalking out your neck sayin' you're a ChristianA Muslim sleeping with the ginNow that was the sin that did Jezebel inWho you gon' tell when the repercussions spinShowing off your ass 'cause you're thinking it's a trendGirlfriend, let me break it down for you againYou know I only say it 'cause I'm truly genuineDon't be a hardrock when you're really a gemBabygirl, respect is just a minimumNiggas f***ed up and you still defending themNow Lauryn is only humanDon't think I haven't been through the same predicamentLet it sit inside your head like a million women in Philly, Penn. It's silly when girls sell their soul because it's inLook at where you be in hair weaves like EuropeansFake nails done by KoreansCome againCome again, come again, come again, come againGuys you know you better watch outSome girls, some girls are only aboutThat thing, that thing, that thingThe second verse is dedicated to the menMore concerned with his rims and his Timbs than his womenHim and his men come in the club like hooligansDon't care who they offend popping yang like you got yenLet's not pretend, they wanna pack pistol by they waist menCristal by the case men, still in they mother's basementThe pretty face, men claiming that they did a bid menNeed to take care of their three and four kids menThey facing a court case when the child's support lateMoney taking, heart breaking now you wonder why women hate menThe sneaky silent men the punk domestic violence menThe quick to shoot the s***n stop acting like boys and be menHow you gon' win when you ain't right withinHow you gon' win when you ain't right withinHow you gon' win when you ain't right withinCome againCome again, come again, come again, come againGirls you know you better watch outSome guys, some guys are only aboutThat thing, that thing, that thing 2 people like this
Posted April 28, 2013 · Report post "The Gift" by Jim Brickman is a song about waiting. The song is about saving oneself for marriage and presenting their "gift" or virginity away to that special someone. The "gift" could also refer to love. "Gift" may also refer to your future spouse. It can also refer to Jesus' sacrifice. I think in general it leans to virginity and future spouse, but listen to it and decide for yourself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKa7MIEKA2I
