  1. Looking at others

All these responses are great and very reassuring. I really like how invincible said it's like when a man goes to the strip club and gets a lap dance because it's true. I don't like when people make excuses for behavior they know is wrong.
  2. Looking at others

Thank you for responding I'm glad you added that not all girls are that way because I've seen a lot of people doing it more both men and woman and I was starting to think it's just the time we live in
  3. Looking at others

Your answer was very helpful it really helped me a lot thank you
  4. Looking at others

Thank you for the response I also want to add I wasn't in a relationship with her I just feel confused because she is a Christian and supposedly wanted to wait but says that's ok to do
  5. Looking at others

I thought I saw something like this before, but I couldn't find it. So I'll just ask. I used to hang out with a girl regularly. She is a virgin. However, when we hung out she always drooled over celebrities and pictures of fire fighters. I forget how we got into the conversation, but I told her that I personally didn't like when people did that because it gives off a vibe that you're only settling for who you have, and actually want that person you're drooling over with your friends. She basically laughed at me like I was childish. Then she stopped doing it. Since I moved she started posting pics like that on Facebook saying things like "just because I look at the menu doesn't mean I'll order it." I was wondering am I childish for wanting a relationship where we both don't drool over others even when we're just having "fun conversations" with our friends?

  10. Hi Everyone!

    Thank you!
  11. I have dealt with these issues. People expect others to be perfect these days. I recently lost a lot of weight and I'm still losing weight. I've always wore 2 shirts and tried not to move too much, because if I move too much I might jiggle. I notice more girls looking at me since losing weight. However, what happens if I'm not good enough. What happens when we hit the work stage in marriage, where we're working and raising kids (whether ours or adopted), and a guy with a great body and personality starts hitting on her at work or the grocery store. It makes me nervous. I don't really have many physical qualities that are make or break when it comes to girls. When I say that, I mean that I have a few, but I don't care about breast and butt size or hair and eye color I want to think she's beautiful, but beauty comes in different forms. I'm afraid of getting in a relationship with a girl and her saying she likes me the way I am, but in fact she's just settling. So I guess the answer is yes. I think we compare people too much in society, and train people to think one thing is best. When in my opinion, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
  12. Thank you both for your responses. She did say her boyfriend also had a girl from the walking dead on his phone. she said their limit was the unlock screen. She said once you unlock their phones it's them. However I still don't like that. I think too much into things sometimes, and symbolically it comes off as anyone can see my love for this celebrity, but only people close to me know I love the person I'm with. I know that sounds ridiculous but if I was with someone, I want them to be my crush. There will be other attractive people but hopefully only one lasting wife lol. I also think that you open more doors of temptation when you make more steps towards liking others. Attraction and lust might start small, but have slippery slopes.
  13. Thank you for your answer
  14. Favourite Time Period and Why?

I really like the 40s and 50s. Every time I watch the godfather and other movies that take place in those days I feel like I belong there. I like the way people dress and act mature. I like the classic cars and the family businesses on all the corners.
